Scott Bulkley, Coach for the lacrosse National All Star Games

After six successful seasons as the head coach of the Greenwich High School boys varsity lacrosse team, Scott Bulkley arrived as head coach of the boys varsity lacrosse coach at Newtown High School in the fall of 2015. For six years prior to that, Bulkley was the associate head coach for the Darien boy’s high school lacrosse team.  During that time, Darien won five FCIAC and five Connecticut Class M State Championships.

In Bulkley’s first year with Greenwich High School, 2010, he led the Cardinals to an FCIAC title. In 2014, Bulkley guided Greenwich to their first ever Connecticut Class L State Championship.  The 2014 Greenwich High School lacrosse team ended the season being ranked 11th in the country by both Inside Lacrosse and Nike/US Lacrosse national high school rankings.  Bulkley has coached more than 41 High School All Americans and five Connecticut Players of the Year. He also coached the CT Chargers U/18 and U/17 Blue Teams, winning back-to-back Bison Brawls 2009-2010, the 2010 Bryant Shootout and the 2011 Crab City Challenge. He also coached the 2018 CP- Lax team, winning their Bulldog Bash division in 2014.  Bulkley was named the MSG Varsity Coach of the Year in 2010 and WCLOA Class L Coach of the Year in 2014.  In 2015, Coach Bulkley was named the FCIAC, Connecticut Class L, and US Lacrosse Connecticut Coach of the Year.

One of Fairfield County’s most decorated lacrosse players, Bulkley was Darien High School’s first boys lacrosse player to be named All-American. Bulkley went on to become the captain of the University of North Carolina Men’s Lacrosse team in 1995 and was a three time Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Champion. Bulkley also went to the NCAA Lacrosse Final Four twice and upon graduation played professional box lacrosse for Major League Indoor Lacrosse on the Charlotte Cobras.
